Cooking!

For school i had to do a project where i "experienced China" (as if i don't already) But i had to cook a famous dish so i had Season come over and we cooked fried rice, and egg drop soup! It was a success <3

                               Season really likes hearts so she made the fried rice into a heart shape!

I had a really fun time making this with Season, my tutor and GREAT friend!

Interesting!

 For school (English) i am starting to learn about poetry. And i was reading Maya Angeloe ( She wrights poetry) and one of her poems was really good, the name was "Still I Rise". The beggining was all good and everything but my favorite part was the end!

You may shoot me with your words,
you may stab me with you eyes,
you may kill me with your hatefulness
but still, like air, I'll rise

I don't know, i thought it was really pretty, and it kind of cut me deep! But i love it! It makes me want to either not be mean o people, or when people are mean to me don't cower, but rise up and be the person that i am!

A little bit of me;)

Randomly i was in the mood to find things that had my name name on them. And this is some of the things i found!

                              Our church gave us crosses with our names and China on the other side!

Candy and me!!

Lately Jonathan and I have really been in the mood to make deserts!:) So first, yesterday, we made Jell-O and today  we made chocolate suckers! It is been a blast (<-Word wanted by Jono)

 

 This is the Jell-O, we had the Jell-O then we made whipped cream, then put tangerines, and more whipped cream!!

 This is when we made the chocolate suckers!  We had the stencils then we melted the chocolate and squeezed it out of the container.

    These are the first one's that got finished, they are Santa, i made the one with the red hat and green body!

With the whole pack they gave you little baggies and twisty ties, so i wrapped them all up and this is what they looked like.

We also made these Christmas trees. I made the one with the green and brown stripes going down (or up:)) and a couple more that weren't as cool!

 This is all of the candies packaged up! (Jonathan wanted to sell them, but i told them it probably would be better just to eat them, or give them to friends!)


Over all i had a very enjoyable time, spending with my wonderful brother Jonathan!

Jonathan's birthday!

For Jonathan's birthday (the 28th) we went to Shanghai! We played at an arcade and gave him all our tickets so he could get himself a present! It was a lot of fun. After we went to one of our friends house, she made a cake for Jonathan (last picture) and had her cook, cook:)

                                  My mom decided to get tickets for the train that was a hour! Not only was it a longer train, we didn't have the seats we had to stand up the whole time! So we made a couple friends that had seats, and we sat down with them:) We are sneaky!

                                                      It is kind of hard to tell, but we are spelling WIRGAU! David is doing the W, Lydia I and A, i am doing the G, Jonathan the A, and Benjamin the U!

                                                     We went and visited the China expo! It was cool!

                                    Little Chinese boy got his picture taken, he was pretty happy!

    Like i said before, this is Jonathan's cake! Sense we are from Florida, she made the beach! With the crabs and boats! It was very creative:)

THANKSGIVING!!

As you can see from all these photo's Thanksgiving was a big hit:) We had a huge feast, and a great time!

                                                                   It was so delicious!

                                           It was a real time for giving thanks, and sharing time with one another!!

Ugly sweater contest;)

Hahah ok this is really random but funny! And i just want to go ahead and say " I am sorry to anyone who thinks these sweaters are cute or has them".  Ok done, so here we go;)

                                             This one wasn't that bad, but when Lydia put it on it looked really funny! When she first saw it showed it to us and told us " This really puts me in the Christmas spirit" And it was really funny!

                                                   REALLY fluffy and kind of weird looking!

                              This was the first one Becca saw and we were laughing so hard!

                                                          It looked like she had a skunk around her neck!

                     I turned around and there is was, sitting on a manecan. I couldn't resist trying it on!!!

                                                      Hahah, Annie! you  made that shirt look kind of cute! But when it was on the hanger, it didn't look that good!


I had a fun day trying on most of the ugly sweaters we found.
